About the Item

This original screenprint is hand signed in pencil by the artist with his initials "JD" in the lower right corner (Jean Dubuffet). It is dated "75" (1975) next to the signature. The work is also hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 50, at the lower left margin. It was printed in a limited edition of 50 hand signed and numbered impressions, there were also 11 proofs aside from the standard edition. It was published by Éditions Beyeler, Basel. Literature: Webel, S. (1991). Jean Dubuffet: L'Oeuvre Gravé et les Livres Illustres. Catalogue Raisonne. Paris: Éditeur Baudoin Lebon. Reference: Webel 1170 Condition: Very good condition. Some minor abrasions to the surface, visible only in raking light.
